Simulating a WiMAX Network

Introduction

Wimax (802.16) is the next stage to a broadband as well as a wireless world. It can provide wireless access up to 30 miles (50 km) for fixed stations, and 3 - 10 miles (5 - 15 km) for mobile stations. It supports low latency applications such as voice, video, and Internet access at the same time.

In this experiment, we will learn how data rates obtained for different modulation schemes also we can analyze the communication range of WiMAX.
