Procedure to do the Experiment
- When the page is loaded user is presented with input parameters namely Charging voltage(VO),Ground Capacitance(Cg),Front Inductance(Lf),Load Inductance(Ll),Front Resistance(Rf),Load Resistance(Rl),Tail Time required(Td) loaded with default values on left frame and a circuit representation of ICG on right frame.
- The user can conduct the experiment with the default values,However the parameters can also be changed and the experiment performed.
- The parameters can be changed by using the -- and + buttons along the text box.
- The setup Generator button is clicked to display the Experimental setup of ICG.
- When the experimental setup is loaded, the Trigger Generator button is clicked to trigger the generator.
- When the generator is triggered the spheregaps break-down and the impulse current waveform so generated is displayed.
- The experiment gets completed after displaying the salient features of the waveform and the values of output parameters namely Peak Current,Peak Time,Front Time and Tail Time are displayed in the form of a graph.
- The end user has the option to change the previously set input parameter values and run the experiment with a new set of input values on the same page without going back to previous page.
- The user can also compare the graphs generated for different input parameter values.
