PROCEDURE :

  1. Select type of the filter i.e. High Pass/Low pass/Band Pass/Band Stop. An ideal filter charectaristics will be displayed beside for the selected filter.
  2. Enter upper and/or lower cut-off frequency (Fa and Fb) for the selected filter.
  3. Enter number of coffecients (M) for the filter to be calculated. Also enter sampling frequency at which signal will be sampled.
  4. Click on ' CALC FILTER ' to calculate filter coffecients and corresponding frequency and time responses will be shown.
  5. Put a input signal frequency in the box below or drag the slider. Click on 'Plot' for corresponding output signal. Input signal is plotted in Blue and output in White.
  6. For closer inspection, click on " Zoom in " or "Zoom Out" to magnify and de-magnify respectively.
